Got the install finished on Deviant Fabrication's FXDXT fairing. Used some white plasti dip until I settle on a paint job.
Nice fairing!....I'm going back and fourth between this one and JD Customs. How's the quality of the fairing itself and the adjustment mechanism? I'd love to see some up close pics of the mounting hardware and adjustment mechanism.

Just go to deviants website and Instagram. Has pics and videos.

Been on both when the fairing was released on 12/13....hoping for real world reviews from those who've purchased it. There is one video on YouTube with an unboxing.. But no detailed real world reviews yet
The fairing is as advertised, OEM replica. Quality brackets and materials. When I compared it to the FXDXT parts list in my 2001 Dyna service manual everything looks spot on, no deviations from OEM. The gear box and armature assembly works smoothly. The weather here has been crap, I'll let you how the freeway test run goes once I get some dry roads.
Packaging was awesome, felt like they were really were concerned about my investment.
Adapter brackets are similar to JD Fab or Bung King. I chose to use a T sport top tree and modified lower bracket to achieve a cleaner install. I should also say I didn't use the included headlight mount. I had one I made from a previous fairing install. This is a very complete kit, You should be able to pull it out of the box and mount it up with out much fuss.
Mildly off subject but pertains to club style bikes, I have a 2014 streetbob and looking to get mag wheels or just suck it up and buy switchblades from harley. What all do i need to mount older mag wheels ? I believe i need to swap axle, spacer, and I need a new rotor right ? but does anyone have the right sizes and all Id need. Looking to start acquiring parts and hopefully have all i need by summer. Thanks in advance for the help
Breaking the thread flow, but it's been days...so back to this earlier question
If you're contemplating getting "switchblades", then I guess you're staying with a Single Disc?
To install 13-spoke Mags on your 2014 FXDB, no axle swap is needed. You will re-use your existing 25mm axle, but will need some "Custom" front wheel and caliper spacers.
If you use 2000-2007 Mags (opposed to 2008-later), you might want to use a bearing shim and you'll need to enlarge the hub for your 25mm axle/spacer sleeve if it is a Mag with 3/4" bearings (opposed to 1").
I'm going to be making up a batch of spacers for that swap if interested.
