Alright..I took some more pics. Still need to do a few more things to it. I think my rectifier is cooked. After a long ride, the battery seems to be dead. It's a brand new battery, can't be the stator, the engine is too new. I guess I'll start there! So here it is!

Looks good. I think the chrome fender horn covers would look better color matched to the fender. Seems a little out of place in that area.

Fuuuuuuuuck yeah man. That’s tough. If ANYthing happens to my tins, so much as a scratch I’m doing flames lol. Need to justify it of course. I lived in Vegas for 37yrs and rode most every one of those. Did Mtn. Springs damn near every weekend too. Rarely saw nice FXR’s in town. Few old timers with clean stockers, handful of 81 had some killer ones. Yours came out nice. I can assume you’ll match the fairing someday, they’ll put it way over the top.

Thanks man! This has been a work in progress for a long time. I've kept changing things...and you change one thing, you have to change 5 more. I'll probably keep the fairing black, but I'm gonna airbrush Odin, his wolves and ravens on the front...Kind of the same thing that is on the side panels. I also need to paint the oil tank too...The previous owner was a Vietnam Vet, and it says VNV there.

Just ordered some leather pros T spots bags too...

Photographer friend of mine got himself a new camera, needed a test subject to try it out, me and the TSport obliged.

Hate to ask this but.... Unless the light on the fairing is deceiving and you can actually see thru it? How can you see the road on a wheelie?

I need to see so I can direct the bike.

You look over it and past it. You’re not supposed to be looking down at the front wheel when you ride, look to see what’s ahead.

Just like driving a car: you dint stare at the hood you look at traffic ahead of you.

I think he was asking about seeing during the wheelie. I usually look way ahead prior to the wheelie and will look off to the side to ensure I am keeping track.
