Thanks squid, i have made a few more minor changes since those pics, powder coated a few things. was going to sell the defender bags and go back to my LP bags...just not sure yet. just got over a shattered wrist from a accident in april, just found out i tore a tendon in my elbow on friday, so doing another surgery end of the month. last year i put on over 25,000 commuting my bike, this year have not really got to ride with all these injurys and wont ride till 2014 or so. reading this forum is about the only interesting thing to do, when stuck at home recovering. ill get some better and bigger pics up this week.

your bike looks great with the fender and bars on it, bet that fender keeps the bike way cleaner when the roads are wet. i had a 71 shovelhead bobber with no fender every time it would rain or drive threw a puddle i would get soaked.

no didnt sell them, i listed them for sale, powder coated the rails and then decided to keep them today i had a set 2 years ago i sold for $400 and always regretted it. then scored this current set a while back, took me year to find them at a great price. started thinking maybe i should keep them, so i guess im keeping them for now. when people sell them they always say they are discontinued from harley, but I'm almost sure you can still get them brand new.

its a trip how in other states some guys hate dynas with fairings, bobbers, etc..but that video really does show the diversity here in CA. no one cares what you ride

Lol, yup. I see a harley with a 1/4 fairing maybe a few times a year.

And yeah, that video is awesome! I like the song and the bike footage rocks!

I'm a fan of all motorcycles! To each his own! Even though the club/thug style is not the direction I'm taking my bike I love seeing all the pics and taking bits from different styles and creating my own. Tht's what owning a bike is all about for me.

Exactly. They are probably the rarest style bike here in the north east. It's a catch 22 in a way because people up here love it when they see it, but the general population of non riders have only seen it on TV so they associate it with the show... Unlike the west coast where it was around long before... Other than my bike and a buddy's Dyna, I can't say I've ever run into another...
