Hey guys, I've got a 2001 FXDX. I'm running a bassani 2-1 road rage exhaust and a S&S breather kit, just ordered a Mikuni 42 carb for my bike. Any suggestions on tuning/jetting it for my bike, its running a bit rich already just with the pipes and breather.

That is gonna be so sweet! I hope you get to spend some new overtime riding all that goodness.

Wow! Is this yours? I love the paint scheme. If it had mids, it would be total fap material.

Very cool.

Thanks squid, yes that is my scoot.
I wish I could run mids but I have nerve damage on my left side in my leg and hip which prevents me from bring able to comfortably use mids for more than a few minutes.

Sadly no. I started messing with it some Friday at the shop and made a miscalculation on the carriage bolt length. Stoppin by the bolt store on the way into work and should have it tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest.

I hear you man. My local hardware store got a lot of business from me selling regular and grade 8 bolts

Has anyone here installed the old style Sportster/Dyna headlamp visor on a 2006-present Dyna? Just wondering what kind of custom mounts or brackets guys are using since there's no eyebrow headlight mount to attach it to. Thanks.

I've looked at doing this on a buddies bike. I'm gonna make a bracket that sandwiches between the bottom of the risers and top of the tree. Seems like the easiest way to do it.
