Default SE II's slip-on part numbers ???

Found this while searching for the Part numbers for my stamped "Screaming Eagle II" slip-on mufflers. I was on the Fuelpak.com website and punching in my setup. The part numbers for the SEII's and the SE Slash Cut slip-ons were the same. That got me thinking. Hope this helps.

Yeah, the original SE2 mufflers are getting harder to find, but they are still out there if you check around...

I was looking for a new set of the PN 80258-99A baloney slash cut mufflers to have on hand for future use on my 2003 WideGlide, but couldn't find them anywhere.

Ended up contacting Zanotti's to see if they might have a set hidden away in a storeroom, and they did have some available. I still have an old 2003 HD Parts & Accessories Catalog, so I checked and found that the 80258-99A had a MSRP of $209. Zanotti sold them to me (new in box) for $160.96 plus $15.28 for shipping. Pretty good deal....

Even though these older (and better) Screamin' Eagle 2 mufflers aren't advertised for sale, you might check with places such as Zanotti's to see if they have whatever type you want stored away..

I found mine new, last summer, at Barnett's HD in Texas. I just gave the call...figured since they were such a large dealership who knows what they might have had on the shelves.

Also, google...you might find them that way. just enter the part number. hit enter

Keep checking ebay as well.

I found a new set of baloney cut black SEII's for $100 plus $16 shipping a few weeks ago.

Cheers
David
