Default Fat Bob Dyno Numbers

I got my slightly used 09 Fat Bob a little over a month ago. It came with V&H Big Shots Staggered, Stage 1 AC, & PCV. I was somewhat disappointed in the power of the bike and was just beginning to accept that I didn't need much power on a cruiser.

Then I decided to get a Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather and have the bike tuned. I had no information on the mapping the previous owner had on the PCV and wondered if it was right.

After the install and DYNO tune the HP=81.16 and TQ=96.05.

I was skeptical at first as I've heard Dyno numbers can be skewed for the customer. Then I rode it home. Huge difference in power.

The bike seems to run a whole lot smoother too. I'm guessing that the previous owner installed a generic map to the PCV and the DYNO tune is what really made the difference here.

Thanks Battlefield Harley Dyno Tuning Guy! Great Job!

The numbers may be skewed but if you feel it in 'SOTP' (seat of the pants) then the tuner did his job. Congrats.

True, If you can feel the difference than the tuner did his job! Was this dyno done in sae or std? The reason I ask is, it seems like the stage 1 #'s are starting to get higher & higher all of a sudden.

The print out reads:

Run Type: RO Run Conditions:75.03*F, 29.46 in-Hg, Humidity: 6% SAE:.099

Max Power=81.16 Max Torque=96.05

The graph shows the Tourque as almost steady straight across then starts to drop off at 4500 RPM. HP peaks at 5000 PRM then drops to about 79 at 5500.
