I know everyone's got black bikes now, but as they say in the rifle world, this one's mine.

Nice work with your black Fat Bob! I know you were being sarcastic about you know everybody has a black Harley now........ but just visit any Harley dealership on a weekend or go to a bike event or show, your black Harley will be nearly unique in the vast sea of the usual chrome everywhere Harley filling the parking lots.

Dang, we're going the same path. Mine's a bit blacker than the sig pic nowadays. Triple tree and head lamp next. Then 103 stage II. Good balance of black and chrome. Well done!

Thanks for the nice comments!
Centerline, your bike along with a couple of others here were the inspiration for this bike. I came off a black Nightster to this, and always missed the dark look of the Nightster so I started looking at bikes on the forum in order to see what I wanted to do.
In answer to some questions, the entire headlight is powdercoated black and the bars are Harley black street slammers. The jury is still out on the bars as the original ones seemed a little more comfortable but were a stretch to reach, so I went for the slammers.
I had the headlight, windshield, exhaust shields, horn cover, and belt guard powdercoated locally. All the rest is factory Harley color.

Nice bike. I like that comment "This one's mine". So many Fat Bobs and each one special in their own way.

I think your bike looks nice with the shock covers on the front. Pretty cool black bike of yours. I think I'll go ride mine today!

Great looking Fat Bob. What are those footboards you've got on the bike? Who makes them?

The floorboards are the mini boards that are on Ebay and other places. Search "dyna floorboards". I got mine from J&P Cycles and paid way too much thinking they might be better quality but they appear to be the same ones. I believe several members here have bought some from dealers on the forum.
