Default My Fat Bob

Been on hiatus for a while, but now back and have a couple new photos of my Fat Bob (sorry about the quality). I like what I've done so far, but always looking for new ideas and inspiration without being too radical...like to keep it simple. Feel free to post your own photos if you reply...thanks!

I also dig the black exhaust. Did you have them painted or powder coated? I like that the heatshields match the pipes. Are they stock mufflers?

Thanks...the heat shield is from the HD catalog (already black) and the mufflers are Rush (1.75), already black as well...no painting...wanted to match with the denim paint.

Bike's lookin' great. I'd go with the Tri-Bar LED tail light. I think it'd look great with the black. (can't wait to put it on my Sedona Orange one). The finned headbolt bridge would clean up the motor (if you haven't already done it). I just installed mine last weekend along with the finned timing & derby covers.

be very careful with the tribar! i read about the issues they have with mounting tabs breaking BEFORE i installed mine. so i KNEW not to over tighten the screws. still cracked one side while mounting. i also put washers on the screws. didnt matter. broke both mounting tabs at some point while riding(didnt realize it) and the light fell out. found it hanging by the wires when i got home monday, all black from rubbing against the tire. fortunately i was able to clean it up with a headlight restore kit and my next step is to build up some better mounting tabs.
