Hey all! I'm getting my first Harley. My father is giving me his 2004 Low Rider as he recently purchased a 06 Electra Glide. Can you share with me what type(s) of adjustments you've done to improve your ride. He has the Stage 1 Screaming Eagle pipes which are too loud for my taste. I'm thinking of putting the original mufflers back on. Will I loose much performance by doing so? What about upgrading suspension or putting on a Power Commander unit?

Remember, if you change the exhaust you will need to rejet your carb (or is your FI?) You will lose some performance.
