Yep have the same thing with the easy brackets.. only put them on when I need them. Have the same feelings as HSB. I did see some Leather bags that have a rigid lid that looked like softbags cost about the same as the HD rigid bags, but after I bought mine.

No I haven't but for you I just did. My laptop is 11"x14" and it fits, tight up against the lid but it fits, if you placed the laptop in first you could get other stuff in there against both sides of it.

Thanks! Now I can cancel my order for a @#$%! backpack. That's the first Dyna bag that has accepted a laptop.

Do they "stick-out" more with the easy brackets?
