Docking hardware for detachable sissy bar and mounting hardware for my bags.

What you're looking at is HD quick disconnect docking harware for sissy bar that's the black collars, a section I believe 3 inches long of all thread/stud, locknuts, fender washers, acorn nut. All hardware, is stainless, including all/thread. The locknuts lock the allthread down to the fender so I don't lose the allthread or the HD qd collar, and the acorn nut keeps the bags on.
So in 60 seconds I can remove the 4 acorn nuts and have both bags off. In 15 seconds I can hit the quick detach levers on my sissy bar and have it on or off. If everything is off, then I have the allthread stuck in there, that I throw the acorn nut or if I really want I bought some chrome acorns that I could throw on there too.
This is the best of all worlds for me, it's stainless, so it ain't rusting, I can have my locking bags, and sissy bar on individually, at the same time or not at all with 90 seconds.
No other combination would allow me to do this, qd pins I mentioned earlier in the thread I wanted bad but they don't allow for quick disconnect sissy bar and bags, I think the ghost brackets do, but I wanted it as close to the fender as possible, and easy/ghost brackets chunk your bags out there a ways, I think anyway. Wouldnt matter on RoadKing but not for me on a dyna.
5/16th is your hardware sizes.

Does anyone have any experience with the HD universal locking kit? I'm getting a set of these: 90564-06Dhttps://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...addlebags.html

And I want a way to lock the bags closed if possible. The HD locking kit looks alright, but not that strong. Are there other companies that do this?

YA the bags do stick out more maybe 1-1 1/2 more than if they were ridgid. But it doesn't bother me

Got them and really like them. Only had them a few months but seem to be durable. I've had them out in a down pour both sitting in the rain and riding. Nothing got soaked inside. I got mine on Ebay new in box from a dealer for about $100 less than my loacal HD dealer.

Lemme know how that works. Have a set of distressed sitting in the garage for months now trying to figure out how to make them detachable.

After much research I went with LeatherPros. Quick detach, lockable. No need to relocate turn signals and works with my detachable sissy bar.

List for $719, but Rebecca at Tri-County HD in OH will give you a 20% discount. (513)874-4343.
