Default bike wont start

Ok so did a dumb thing awhile back, must have been while i was drinking right? I left the ignition switch on all night. How could anyone do that the headlight would have been on??? Anyways i must have done it cause the battery was deader than dead the next day. I hooked up a trickle charger , charged up to green, than tried to start. The bike wants to turn over but it will give about one good grunt before the battery just clicks. It is about 0 degrees here so not a good time to try to crank over a battery but do you think a new battery is in order, even though i can the charger to get it up to green?

Take it to Autozone or similar auto parts store, they will charge for free and tell you if it's the battery.

The HD AGM type battery very rarely recovers from a completely dead state. New battery time.

Yep, sounds like a new battery will be needed.

My stator failed, jump bike with car to park it(wasn't supposed to do that), charged battery at Autozone, rode bike 40 miles, battery dead again at home, charged battery at Autozone, rode bike to stealer, stator replace (MoCo cover the parts). battery still good.

New battery time. Trickle charger is useless when trying to charge a completely dead battery....
