I need tires, the fronts worn and the rear has a nail in it.I like my SE Dunlops allot just not fond of dropping $500 at the local dealer. I'm looking for an alternative.I used to get tires from Discountmotorcycletire.com for my Suzuki and I wonder if maybe I couldn't get those Avons through some online place and have my favorite local indy install them.I'm looking for any usefull info I can get.Thanks.

 

I had Avon Venom's on my last bike 06 Sporty and they worked good. Had no problems with them. When I sold the bike they had about 6000 miles on them and they still looked like new. I'm not a real aggressive rider but sometimes my right hand will twist a bit more then it should...but it's fun.

 

i bought my avons on ebay from a tire dealer 110.00 brand new, i will look for the link. avon has a 176mm wide rear, but i measured it after install and correct pressure and its 182 mm. oh ya the avons are 100 times better then the dunlops IMHO.

Thanks for the help I really like the Screaming Eagle Dunlops but the price with installation at a Harley dealer was just stupid.

 

go to a indy dealer for tire change, dealer is crazy prices for labor. costed me 20.00 a tire for install/balance. jackyl

 

What Avon tires in what sizes can I use for stock Street bob wheels? And where can I get em cheap? I guess is what I'm looking for.
