TWO-UP...How's do the Dyna's Handle at Speed?
#21
I ride two up almost exclusively. My pass pegs are not swingarm mounted, but that aside, the wife really has no issues at all and the Dyna does fantastic. A sissy bar really is a must for long rides if you want the passenger happy though. I recently installed floorboards and to my supprise the wife said it didn't make a lick of difference to her. To me the difference was quite noticable.

I saw a guy that had to be at least 500 lbs on some little ricer bike - like an old Honda 350 or something. Looked like he had the bike stuck up the crack of his ***. Not a pretty sight.

Thanks for all the insightful replies....I think this bike will be a great solo long distance machine, and considering our size, the long two-up touring will continue on the Valkyrie. I'm going crazy not riding the thing...had enough of a taste in the late fall to know I'm going to enjoy it....now if I can just keep it out of her hands.

I just got a new Super Glide this week, and loving it. Took the wife out for the first time and she loved it. She's a trooper, it never got over 35 here in Nashville, but she didn't complain. She's only 120, so I didn't even notice she was back there. She's a big reason I got the FXD, she hated riding on the back of my Buell. The sissy bar made all the difference.
