In my previous thread I was confused between the Wide Glide and the Street Bob for the bike I wanted to buy. Now considering my height, personal taste and your opinions, I decided to go for the Street Bob athough I like both bikes.
Now I wish to hear your opinions about the colours.
Which colour do you think you prefer if it was you buying the Street Bob?
Black Denim or Vivid Black?

BLACK DENIM! My first Bob is going to be Black Denim!

 

Vivid Black is the fastest color.

 

I've had black denim for over 3 years and I'm here to tell ya it's crap.The only part of the bike that still has the original paint is the gas tank.I'd go for the vivid black.

 

I would get vivid black. The 2010 has the black engine and I think the gloss black is best with an all black engine. It is also not a 450 dollar upcharge.

 

Can you expand on "Its Crap."?

I havent had my Denim Black Street Bob for that long, but the previous owner put my bike through the ringer and the one thing that seems to have held up is the paint. The idiot tried to wax it, so when I got it there was a lot of left over residue in crease area and behind the badges, but a little simple green fixed it all. If this bike was vivid black, it wouldnt look near as nice as it does right now.

I love having paint that HD reccomends cleaning with an ammonia based product like windex.

 

Going on two years with my Black Denim Fat Bob ... looks great.

 

I thought I wanted my Bob to be Denim, I drooled over it for months before buying but at the last minute I had a change of heart and went with Vivid. The flat black is a trendy color and you will get sick of it eventually where as gloss black always has and always will look bad ***. Nothing in the world looks better than freshly cleaned and waxed high gloss black paint.

 

I myself was going to get denim, but after touching it, it felt chalky. so I went with vivid.

 

Of the two, vivid. I prefer the Black Pearl as far as stock colors though
