Went to my dealer here in concord nc about my injector prob as many other guys on here have . My has the 8s in it and has the same probs all these other guys are having . My dealer told me that if the bike was still all stock that they would warranty it , but since I have slip ons and a S&S breather that I would have to cover it . Anyone know of any dealers around nc or sc that wont give me a prob like this ? The service bulletin came out a month before my bike was made , looks like they would have went ahead and chaged them and been done with it .
I worked in the auto industry for over 20yrs, if its a T.S.B. (Technical Service Bulletin) then they have to fix it as long as the problem is present,,,not sure if its the same for Bikes,,call Harley and find out..
They have to. That S&S is no different than a SE. Somebody post the name of that warranty act, that I can't remember. I'd be going back to see them or riding to another service dept.
I had slip-ons and the SE A/C with my bike and the dealer did the work no charge. I live in the New Orleans Metro Area. The only thing I did not like is the Tech. went for a ride before the 1000 mile service and said that he did nto seem anything different, but there was, a slight miss every so often.

This one has to do with fuel delivery. The exhaust and intake have been changed beeing a direct result or A/F. So they are correct about not covering it. Some may get lucky and have them replacd with a stage 1 kit and others may not, it will deppend on the dealers.
