Nice bike. Like the Burly bars a lot! Agree with you, not crazy about the size of the gap between the rear fender and the tire.

Lower rear shocks would help improve the look. Tank lift might look good also.

Tank lift will happen soon.....will make a bracket at work. Haven't decided on what shocks yet, still researching.
