The tank lift looks pretty awesome with the front and back going up. I may have to give this a try at some point. Posts like this are why I love this forum.

Wish I could see your pics. Someday when I have enough posts, I'll go back to this thread and have a look-see. Hope this counts as a post.

Of course, after you figured out you can't make it for less than $20 and need $5k or more worth of machinery it's all about how stupid I am for buying billet & how I shoulda had it polished instead of powdercoated.

Truth is, look like a dumb ******* and you owe me an apology. Its none of your business what I put on my bike or what I spend. I posted pics to a nice little mod and this thread aint about you.

You're right. I was out of line. Been under a lot of stress lately and without even realizing it, there ya go.

My apologies to you.

+1 on that , it does look bad a**! It will help you maintain the bike better too.

i know right? I've always love tank lifts and this thread inspired me to do a tank lift on my ELECTRA GLIDE.. 1/2" in the rear 1.5" in the front!!! made my own brackets with spare **** laying in my friends garage. I've search and search and never seen a touring bike with a lift.
