I am getting ready to do my first tire change by myself for my 2007 FXDL. It says in the service manual that if I remove the sprocket mounting screws or the rear brake screws to discard them and replace with new ones. I cannot find what the part number for these screws are in the manual.

Can anyone point me to where this would be in the manual?

You should replace them if removing the sprocket or rotor but there is no reason to remove them for a tire change.

 

I'm thinking you should probably just take the bike to a shop and pay them to change the tire....it'll be cheaper and faster than you doing it yourself.
