OK, so I bought the HD visor'd & smoked lense kits for the turn signals and tail lights on my '10 Wide Glide. I love the way they look and it was exactly what I was going for.

However, the problem is that at night in the rear, the bottom half of the light is red and there is ALOT of white at the top half of the light. I wanted a red halogen bulb in there instead of the small LED light because of the "diamond" reflector pattern the tail light housings have behind the bulb. When the lights are off, the bulb reflects back and makes the whole thing still smoked w red.

Anyone have any experience with that? I don't like the LED bulbs, so my only other option would be to get the LED kit that would fill in the whole housing in the rear. As it is, at night my tails almost look pink......I'll try to get a pic tonight and put it up here.

 

My , go with a good quality LED insert like Badlands or Custom Dynamics. They are way brighter than incandescent bulbs!
