Removing Stock Sissy bar on 2010 wide Glide
I need help with removing the stock sissy bar on my 2010 WG. The bracket isn't slotted so it can slip off and the turn signal wires are threaded through it. Do the turn signals unhook somewhere or, do I have to cut he wires and re-solder them? Any help would be appreciated.

Gee Wiz,,,just follow the wiring along the inside of the fender in the protective tray into the underseat wiring box (for a lack of better description) and just disconnect the pin connectors. Loosen up the turn signals and carefully pull the wiring loom out through the sissy bar and the fender. Remove the sissy bar using some cardboard protectors between the bar and fender and lift it up and away.

Bag is a HD item, picked up at the Dealer. Stock straps OK for closure but for now I'm using big, long zip ties (takes 4) over the fork tubes and then attached sticky blocks to under the lower triple clamp with small zip ties to keep it from sliding down,,,its working so far but will try to figure out a leather wrap or something in the future. Zip ties look pretty lame to me.
