Default Homade Exhaust

I have been looking into making a set of exhaust by cutting the stock head pipes and having some exhaust tubing bent here at my local exhaust shop and welding them up to acheive the style pipes that i want. i was wondering a few things. one has anyone made there own if so do you have any pics? and two did you use baffles in them and how does the power or performance feel with them on you bike. i have also heard of a tunable "lolipop" insert that acts as a baffle that you can adjust for different power curves? anyone have any advice on the lolipop and would you run that and a baffle or just the lolipop and no baffle. i attached pictures of the two styles i am trying to decide on?

Default homemade pipes

have toyed with the idea myself ....the baffle is named appropriately ,would inside work if a ring say 2'' thick was made like a crosshair in a rifle scope.....it would create back pressure but also flow straight through....always wondered if 2 into 1 with a ol' skool cherry bomb glasspack would sound like
