Hey guys I need me some advice... When I turned off my 04 fxd today it made a noise I never heard before. It sounded like air was either being sucked in or pushed out through the exhaust. Anyone know what it could be or if I should be worried. Thanks in advance!

 

my 99 fxd makes a sound like that every once in a while when i shut it off. I think it's through the carb though

 

my 05fxdci will do the same thing.. I think its hitting the top of compression just when your turning it off. and it has to go somewhere.. sounds like a little fart...

Haha yeah a little fart is a pretty good way to describe it. I was standing behind the bike almost when I heard it so I don't really know if it was the carb or the pipes it wasn't real loud but I guess its nothing to serious.
