Default Harley 1/4 fairing

Does anyone know where i can find a black windshield for my 1/4 fairing. I've heard of people painting them but really want it to look good. Thanks

I looked around before I did mine, you can make it look good with plastic/metal paint from krylon. Its easier than you think, I painted the inside of mine so the ouside still looks smooth.

you can make your own.1/4"acrylic sheet can be formed in a oven.do not use plexiglass as is too brittle.many shades of colors including no see through black.cut sheet from template made from old windshield.heat sheet in oven 300 degrees 3-4 minutes use old windshield as a form with cotton flannel sandwiched between as a barrier.made this one for hiway rides works well

I painted mine with a rattle can it came out good. If you paint the inside it looks tinted, if you paint the outside it looks painted, either way its easy. no need to sand it just a feew coats will do.

Yeah i powder coated them. I did it almost a flat black. I wish i did it a glossy black though. They are nice, they really take a beating but don't get scratched much. Also they are super easy to clean unlike the cast ones.
