Seems like there are so many different picture and mod threads, but doesn't seem that there is one dedicated to headlight mods alone. Considering what a major appearance difference it can make, I think it is time for a thread dedicated to this specifically.

Just seems like a common mod, one that gets little attention on posts.

Posts can be anything from simple powder coating to housing changes, to 100% custom mods. Post your pics!

BTW, would love to see anyone who has installed a Crime Scene Choppers Rapide Headlight on their ride..

Mine (7" OEM FatBoy style light (powdercoated gloss black w/satin black trim ting) with WideGlide Bullet headlight mounting block):

fatboy headlight, powdercoated shell, chrome trim ring, oem block.

 

Not much of a headlight mod, really. Stock housing, Hella H4 offroad light/bulb, fabbed mounting base for idiot light location and installed a low/off/hi marine switch.

found this rust bucket in the back of a buddies dads garage, i blasted it all down, did a bit of touch up on the mount points (added a larger plate inside the bucket to distrubute the pressure from the mount) then powder coated it all, made a block to keep it as tucked in as i could





converted it to H4 HID


then lit up the lense with some LEDS

 

joe where'd you hide the HID ballast?
