USmachine makes some killer contrast cut black headlight....but kinda spendy. I want one but can't bring myself to pull the trigger at that price. here's a link
got my headlight in the other day..well just had to see what it looked like..still waiting on a piece from headwinds..should be here tomorrow..what do you think..??
Alright - dumb question - is there any way that I can swap the headlight without removing the tank and all that madness? I have the HD shell P/N 67704-03 Billet Headlight Shell kit thang - powder coated gloss black (courtesy of Joe Powder Pro).. It uses the stock lens and whatnot... Anywho is there a way to take apart the headlight connector that's inside of the bucket?

Just pop out the rubber grommet on the frame neck and follow the wiring from the back of the headlight into the frame and unplug it.

If you remove the 3 wires from the connector (I think I posted a pic of how to do this in another thread) and pull the rubber plug out from the base of the bucket, you can fish the wires out from the bucket without having to trace anything back into the frame. That's how I did it at least..
Death - yes!!! That's what I was hoping to hear - tho I cant find any pictures but i see what you're saying! Now just waiting for an o-ring to come in and i will be putting the new headlight on yay:-)
