Default Pendleton, OR engine builder's name?

This might be the wrong forum for this question, but I've heard nothing but good things about a Harley engine builder in Pendleton, Oregon. The info was second hand, so I have no idea who it might be that is building such fantastic engines.

Does anyone know?

Yeah, I'm really interested in an engine build this winter, either stage III or IV.

The only thing I found using Google was Phantom Cycles and there are some pretty bad reviews about the place.

Wow! You're clear across the country and took the time to help me on a local issue! Thank you!

Yeah, I Googled too, Yellow Paged and whatever else and also came up with Phantom Cycles. Seems in an earlier search, a few months back, I emailed them and received no reply.

I'm thinking this guy might be more obscure, maybe unlisted. My best dirt bike racing engine builder in the 80's didn't have to advertise either, word of mouth kept him busy.

I just now got a call, just an impromptu notice for a ride tomorrow, maybe someone there will know who this builder guy is.

Baisley does some very good work, Latus Motors in Gladstone (also near Portland) did the stage II 103 work on my 2010, very pleased with the results.

As to your original question, I have sent you a PM of a guy who lives over in Richland that is very tuned into the performance scene (including Harleys). Good luck with your project.

Default Thank You!

Thanks, Inspector, good info, I PM'd you back.

By the way I did find the builder's name today, the guy I had heard about in Pendleton that did the great builds..... Craig Mayfield with Phantom Cycles.

Longhair already gave me a heads up about this place, so I will procede with caution.

I believe I emailed them a few months ago, telling them what I had in mind and never heard back.

Anyway, thank you EVERYONE for your time and help. I now have more options to choose from.
