If you are internally wiring them then here is a couple of very useful links

When a friend helped me change out my bars we refernced those links for the wiring connectors and it went smoother than Oprah swallowing a 55 gallon barrel of chocolate shake.

thanks for all the help, bike has apes on it know so the cables should be long enough .changeing the bars because of shoulder pain.whent through 4 seats ended up with the harley sundowner solo . so the bars are next.
Bar Glue? I've used bar grip from the dealer and Liquid Nail. both work just dont put to much on. I butter up the end of the bars and let the grips smear it when i slide them on. CLEAN UP THE EXCESS ASAP! and let the glue dry, too many folks twist them and brake the glue bond before it has a chance to set. Other than that its easy
yes as posted above "take your time I just did mine last weekend nothing serious in the job any questions come back here and post also use the search option heaps of posts on this as most riders do it at some point,
I had to change out all the cables so it took me about 14 hrs all together. The only tip I could give you is to get a speed bleeder if your changing the brake line. It took me 4 hrs to get the brakes bled and working. Other than that I just took my time and it went very well!!! Good luck!!!
