Default wiring dilema

Ok I'm stumped. I'm workin on a 02 superglide, trying to get the handlebar wiring out of the frame. There is not enough slack under the seat to get even close to the connectors. I've tried everything I can think of. Am I missin something or ???? Thanks in advance for any help

There's got to be enough slack under the seat ... the 'service loop' is how the bike was wired when it was assembled ... if you haven't already, remove the battery box so you can ensure the wire isn't bunched up or kinked or held up from feeding all the way forward ....

It helps to have long arms and/or a helper to feed and pull at the same time ....

surforchop thanks, I've removed the battery box as well as the rear wheel and fender and cant seem to get the slack I need. Even had an extra set of hands helping yesterday. I'll go out with a fresh set of eyes today and see if I can get it. My service manual is on order btw, just trying to make some progress on cold snowy day
thanks

+1 on what surfor said. How much of a loop is under the seat? Should be about 6-7 inches which is more than enough.

A new day and a fresh set of eyes fixed the problem. Found the service loop had been folded up and stuffed back into the backbone. Had I not taken the reaer wheel and fender off I dont think I would have got it. Thanks for the advice
