I would like it just to have something to power my phone but for $250 you get to supply your own phone, AND a mount and they give you a cable and an app?...................I don't think so.

If you really want something digital like that look into the GPS powered racing dashes used in desert racing cars and the like.

Will have speedo, odometer, trips, 1/4 mile times, 0-60 times, and will monitor just about any sensor you plug into the back of it.

Most GPS units have a speedo on them. The one in my car gets looked at so much that I find it inconvenient to look down at the "real" speedo.

The ones on the gps are very accurate.
