Holy $hit batman!!!!!!!These pipes are mean and nasty from the word go.Gave my otherwise tame SG the growl I like.Cracked open the throttle a bit and fely my front end getting light so I backed off a bit. These pipes are just what I needed to get the true HD sound.I held off putting the SE aircleaner kit on yet as I dont have the PC3 in yet.Just wanted to hear the new pipes a few times before she goes to bed for the winter. No pop on Decel, sounbds good.I am not going to be doing much riding however till I get the Power commander in it.Will also be checking my plugs after this weekend.Stock pipes suck!

O.k. now....I highly doubt if swapping pipes gained you enough power to make the front end get light when you cracked the throttle. Most likely that was a placebo effect at work....However, enjoy your new pipes.

BTW, if all you changed was the pipes and not the AC. Ride it all you want. You ain't gonna hurt it.

Indeed, those pipes sound sweet. I've had those on mine for about a year now. Glad you like them, too.

As for the front end and power, you're probably just a little excited. Unless you allow more air in, it's highly unlikely your bike is making anymore power.

Enjoy.

Throw some BCT Baffles in those pipes and see how you like it. Huge difference for around $130 more. Still, the SEIIs kick *** on their own. Didn't mean to take away from your stoke.

I didn't think much of these at first, but after a few thousand miles the sound seems to get deeper. Now I'm glad I didn't change out the baffles.

enjoy,

TC

"Seat of the pants" dyno always read a little high

But that's why we enjoy the ride. Glad you're happy, it seems exhaust is one of those add ons where what sounds good to one may sound like crap to another.

You got to love looking in the end of the pipe and seeing daylight at the other end!

Had mine for about a year now and really love'em. By the way, you will set off car alarms in parking garages.
