Another thing to consider: If that round mirror doesn't come to the outside far enough...it isn't going to serve much purpose. You wont be able to see behind you. I know everyone's different. But I kept the stock one on so that it would be functional as well. I can see out of the stock mirror hanging there just fine since it hangs outside on the bars far enough for me to see the road behind me.

How do you get a good view? I have tried that and it does look way cleaner. I do like to keep an eye on the "a$$holes are closer that they look" behind me. I just can not adjust to get a good enough view with the under mounted mirrors.

I don't know. I guess it's cuz we're all different height and widths here...and so are our handlebars. It just so happens that my bars and my size give me such a good view across both sides of the road, that I ended taking off the right sided mirror and just rollin' the one on the left.

do you know where i can find a smaller diameter round mirror? 4" diameter looks a little too big.

i put the mirror on upside down, i couldn't see anything but my shirt, so now its just one single right side up mirror. thinking about getting one of the mirrors for the end of the handlebar grips.
