If it is, I'm unimpressed. If I am looking at the picture near the bottom that you are looking at, it looks like the Dyna answer to the Blackline Softail, which to me was a questionable release...


I expect the Switchback to be not unlike the Dyna version of a poor man's CVO Softail Convertible.

Agreed. Under the picture it mentions taking your bike to a "fit shop". It's probably just a catalog build assembled at a dealer with a special sign.

 

With the switchback being a new 2012 model and the new models aren't revealed for another couple of months, I'd say no.

I also read that the Cross Bones, Rocker C and Street Glide Trike are all going away.

 

Maybe "switchback" simply means they are switching back to the original style wide glide...

it say's Switch Back on the battery cover.

 

I don't speak French and didn't translate it but a couple of things are obvious enough - The headline has the word rumors in it and the photo is a artists rendition of what it "might" look like, see the word "photomontage" under the photo.
