Default what should i expect for h.p.?

im about to add a arlen ness stg 1 big sucker and a thunderheader to my 01 fxdl how much of a h.p. gain should i expect? i just had her dynoed at a local bike night shes puttin out about 71 h.p and 79 torque...thats about what i thaught for a tc88 carbed. ill have her dyno tuned after the upgrade.

I don't think you will really be able to tell much of a difference. The pipes will make it sound better and it will be better, but unless you have clocked or dyno'd a before and after run, the difference is very little for a seat-of-the-pants comparison.

I couldn't tell a difference with my stage 1, but my top end increased by 10 MPH on the same stretch, so it did make a difference. There were no downsides to the stage one, except for the modest cost.

Your bike is doing pretty good right now. Mine after the stage 1 was putting out 75 Hp 85 TQ on the dyno.
