Default Oil coller + True Track

Does anyone run an oil cooler with the true track? I am looking to the oil cooler mounted low, either the HD version or Jaggs.

If the true track interferes, does anyone have the complete part set up for the vertical version of Jagg?

Thanks
Don

I've seen pics on here of one with both. I'm not sure which oil cooler though. All I can say is search.

The low mounted HD or Jagg cooler will need to trimmed, bent and modified to fit the True Track, but it looks good when done right. There was a discussion on it about a week ago.

Just looking at the TT vs the Sputhe last year, I chose to go with Sputhe because of the "obvious" cooler mounting advantage for my Jaggs with the fans behind it. All I had to do to fit both the cooler and fan kit was to drill an existing, but unused hole, in the Jaggs mount from about 1/8" to about 9/16ths. I then took a grinder or skinny wheel to take this hole another fraction of an inch to complete a "U" cut. That simple 5 minute mod allowed me to modify the cooler mount, with fan attached, without undoing either one. The "U" cut was just to clear a socket head bolt that prevented the cooler bracket from mounting flat with the Sputhe engine mount.

The TT will take a bit more work, but it has been done and done with clean results. I haven't seen a fan mounted yet behind this mod, but if a fan is not in your future plans, then I would go this route. By it's very nature, the TT would place a low mounted cooler more forward than the Sputhe, which most of us don't want. However a bit of bending, trimming, drilling and tapping can place the cooler mounting bracket behind the TT mount for a even tighter location than my own Sputhe/Jaggs mount. Maybe the same mods can even move the Sputhe in further, just choose your stabilizer and make it work.

True Track definitely has great service. I read a story on here that made me a confirmed advocate of them. On the other hand, Sputhe packaged was ready for their UPS pick-up 45 minutes after my order was placed. Both are great products and great companies.

Here's my Jagg with the to/from adapter btw engine & filter. No interference issue with a True-Track (though I don't have one). Be sure to tighten the crap out'a the hose clamps at the adapter. After a few heat/cool cycles, the hose softened up and I had an oil soaked bike & pantleg all the way from Grants Pass to San Jose.

Thanks for the replies. I knew the vertical Jagg would be no problem, but trying to find a picture of the low mounted version with the TT.

When you mention behind the TT, I assume you mean its first the oil cooler, TT and then engine. If anyone has a pic, that would be great.
