Exactly, it is seriously overwhelming, how bad this catches on. I bought my bike thinking I would be happy with what it had. Now I spend hours a day looking up things I want.

Last night I took a ton of things apart on the bike and put it back together just to see how difficult my next project was gonna be.

That's funny stuff! I got a couple of buddies that joke that every time they come by I have something torn apart on my bike for some reason.

Hey Joe, you say the setup screams. Does that mean 80's rock will sound good but does it project bass tones at highway speeds? Can they even be heard? I wish I knew someone with your setup so I could give it a listen. Maybe you know of someone in the Minneapolis area that wouldn't mind meeting up?

The bad part is at about 9:30pm I realized I needed to put it back together to drive it in the morning. So I was up till about 11pm doing that.

I was wondering the same thing. I have the cycle sounds 2.5" 150w system on my bike and if its highs ya want it delivers! If ya want some tone well not so much. I'ver considered going up to the 3" 200w speakers since according to them it uses the same amp. It's good for around town up to around 50-55 but much over that and I just use ear buds. Having highs cranked up sounds like crap even at 75 mph. Jealous of my buddies upgraded system on his street glide. That thing rocks!

i cross the amps over, this eleminates low bass, to be honest even my 6x9 set up you can not get bass to your ears as you ride as it breaks up so fast in the wind. you get solid mids and highs out of the unit with a light under tone of the lows with the cross over. the 500 watt with polk audio have had over 85MPH no shield and could sing right along, wth the shield on there well past 100 mph no issues at all, clear as a bell!

ooooh ya! i will also add... if you take your ipod and adjust the settings for EQ to boost that will help increse the over all sound as well as wehn you plug it in, adjust the max volume in the settings section all the way to the top. does wonders!!!

i just got one of Joe's new 500 watt bags in and i love it. i had one of his older bags, not sure on the wattage of it. i'm at work right now and will be writing up a full review this weekend, but just a few quick words about it is WOW! this bag delivers. your not going to get a bass thumping system on a motorcycle...this 500 delivers the sound. i listen to skynyrd and CCR to AC/DC & Metallica, then to old classic country up to new country. it sounds awesome. i have a long ride this weekend, but i can say up to 75mph with my shield on it is plenty loud and great sound. i set my EQ on my iphone and i dont even need to set the volume of the iphone wide open...this bag rocks! and best of all, like joe said...it doesnt look like a huge set of mickey mouse ears floating up on your bars...looks smooth, clean, and sleek...like a Harley is supposed to!

Full review + pics coming soon...i'll even try my best to get a good youtube video of the setup
