Default 2490 mile ride

I just got back from a 2490.
A couple days of over 700 mile days.
My Hardstreet bags where fine, the Kuryakin tombstone bag worked great....
Butt I do need a new seat....For my 08 FXDC....Something that looks good and definetly feels better....
So looking for reccomendations....
Thanks in advance for all suggestions....

Hey! looks like a cooler version of a 2012 FLD!

On the seat - Just do a search, and look for a good deal. HD Sundowner, or Touring seat. Or Mustang Touring, etc etc etc...

I have the HD touring pillow seat, it is comfortable as hell for long rides, but I hate the way it looks. I am gonna pick something up more comfy for cruising.

If you are looking for great comfort on long rides, it works great.

SunDowner seat! Took a 4260 mile cruise last year on it and NEVER had a regret for choosing it. 750 miles was my longest day, but most were 550-650 when I was travelling.

Damn straight...that thing is as ugly as sin. But I bet it's comfortable.

For me, I have an 07 FXDB stocker on my 09 and I can go quite a while without pain. I rode from Nashville to Chicago in one day and I was fine. I got a little bit of saddle soreness for about 30 minutes but nothing too bad. I took some ibuprofen and it went away. And I was coming off two straight days of riding before that.

I think a backrest helps a lot too. It can take on some of the weight that your butt doesn't have to carry. Since I got my backrest/tour pak system on I've been able to ride a lot longer.

Dude - Let us know how it goes with this seat! I am very interested because of the back support, and lower seating position.
