Switchback revisited.
I like it!! The red is beautiful.
If I was buying new, I'd give that a good long look.
Obviously need to ride one.
They did the motor that way to make it resemble a Shovel
w/the polished alum. It was a PITA to keep up then, it still would be.
I'd put wrinkle black on it where ever the polished is. Then a Stage 2.
In that light frame . . . what a rocket !!
The saddlebag hardware is great. So clean. You sure wouldn't need fillers
to hide it.
I think with some fine tuning, Harley out did themselves.
Open that P&A book boys n girls (and the wallets)

I like this bike allot especially in black.Yes it would look better with black cases but I'd take one in black as is.Then I'd have to do something about that windshield it's too tall for me the top cuts straight through my line of sight, that would drive me crazy.
when i questioned my dealer about it last weekend they said that their red floor model is not currently for sale, it is being kept for people that want to see one in person, sit on it, demo it( for serious shoppers) and see how the bags and shield comes off. matter of fact they had it sitting there with one of the bags removed so you could check out the system.
my salesman said he had sold 2 already and they are scheduled to arrive before the end of this month.
personally i think its going to be a pretty popular bike with smaller people (such as myself) that cant handle the dressers.
I definitely DO NOT LIKE THE FRONT FENDER.... too damn blocky

I think they will do well too. My last bike was a RK and now have a Dyna that I'm enjoying it much because it's lighter and easier to ride for me. (I'm 61)
Wouldn't go back to a RK but would do a RQ in a flash.
With the polished aluminum cases they weren't trying to make it look like a Shovel or anything else. They were trying to clear out a bunch of polished aluminum cases that didn't have a home.

Our local dealer sold their first one the day it arrived. I never even got a chance to see it on the showroom floor.
