Default Switchback revisited.

I saw the new Switchback model for the first time today. Perhaps it's just me but the brushed aluminum engine cases really detract from the bike's looks. Anyone else feel this way? That being said, I sat on it and it actually felt lighter than my 2010 fxdc despite being approx 40 lbs heavier. Seat height was also a touch lower.

Well i knew i was going to get the Fatboy Lo but i did give this bike some thought. Until i saw it in person. Now its not a bad bike but it just didnt do it for me. Ya and like you said it needs more then the brushed aluminum it just dosent work for this bike! This bike needs to be all chromed out or all blacked out and it would look alot better! I liked the wheels on it tho!

Same with my dealer... Still have the one they got in a few weeks ago.

I like the wheels but the overall bike looks like a minature version of something else.

I do like the wheels, the laced ones on my FXDC are a pain to keep clean..

Not crazy about it either for some reason, it just looks sort of cheap to me !

I actually like the look. Took the bags off (easy) the hardware was solid. Windshield removal is easy and the docking hardware is solid. All in all it appears to be built well even though some have said it looks cheap. Yeah the brushed aluminum ain't my thing either. Yeah the one at our closest dealer is still there too. Overall bike sales seem to be stagnant. Economy really isin't getting much better.

Honestly, I like it. Its different. The bags and shield are detachable to give you a regular Dyna. Best of both worlds. Two bikes in one.
