My battery went dead 3 times. The first time I bought a new one. (the shop tested and said was bad) The second time, I tested for a dead short, I cleaned all the connections, tested the relay, tested the charging system, (showed 14 volts with a snap on tester). I charged the battery and rode the bike 300 miles with no problems, yesterday went for an 80 mile ride stopped for a drink, went to start and it was dead. BTW, the bike set a week due to rain, checked the battery before I left it was 12.6 volts. Its charging intermittently or what? 92 FXR Lowrider. Any advice. Thanks

on the front left of the engine case is where you stator connector is, these are known to come loose on the EVO's
