The blocks are junk IMO. Why would you design something in two pieces if you knew it was going to be a vital part of lifting the motorcycle? The least they could have done was make it a one-piece design. I had one of my adapters separate while the bike was on the lift. They are a hassle to line-up to get the bike/lift adapaters square on the jack.
Just do the mod and save yourself the headaches.
My motto: No adapters needed.

I did a Search on this Site for a Sears jack and got the Info from SC-LongHairs Post Called Sears red jack modification . He also has a Video. I will go step by step. 1. In the Begining I gathered my Tools. 2. Used a Sawsall to cut the Bar Between the Riser Plates. 3. Used a Hand Grinder to Smooth the Bung Hole that was left. 4. Used a Half Inch Drill Bit to Enlarge all 4 Holes Then Reversed the Riser Plates. I used 1/2 inch by 6 inch Grade 5 Bolts, Nylox Nuts and Fender Washers. I think you could get away with 5 1/2 inch Bolts. Takes a little Finagling to get it just Right under the Bike. Works great.

I can make something if there is a void in the market for a bitchen dyna lift block.
I need money as much as the next guy.
haven't had to deal with it on this bike but my back tires about gone and I really want to black my legs out...
I am thinking machined delrin channels backed up by 1/4 inch plate mated perfect to a dyna frame clearing all the accessories/boards/whatever.

As for your FLHR, I believe your frame is flat all the way across the bottom so, no you don't need to mod your jack but it may help with stabilizing the bike a little more while on the jack.
The lift pads are kind of narrow. Give it a shot. Worst comes to worst, you set the jack back to oem.
The mod takes ~15-30min and $10 in nuts/bolts/washers.

After looking at your pictures (Very nice by the way), I noticed you didn't transpose the front left (in last pic) bolt around. I'd think the threads would interfere with the kickstand. That's what I ended up doing, was just flipping the bolt around so the head was on the outside.
