Default hawg halters chrome triple tree

Came across hawghalters site...
Has anyone purchased a chrome triple tree from 'em?
Are they reliable or is there any other place where you guys would point out to?

I have the HHI trees and I could not be happier with them. You will need an internal fork stop which is not included.

They give you a very clean look, especially if you get the countersunk riser bolts like I have, you can see them in my sig pic, no bolts show up, same with the headlight, they allow for recessed Allen heads to keep that clean as well.

The install is fairly simple, should you have to remove your tubes, it is a little tricky the first time as it is different than what most of us are used to, but no big deal.

The extra thickness gives it a very stout looking front end in my opinion.

Feel free to PM if you have any specific questions, or post here.

Have you thought about getting your trees chromed? I am very happy with the way mine came out. Nicer than the Harley chrome. $65 per tree.

@RichardH
Nice looking chromed version...
Just a quick question?
I've a chrome plating factory near to my home where I live...What they had to tell me was that HD uses a special chrome plating called "Hexavalent" plating so this usually lasts for life whereas most of the chrome plating company does "Trivalent" plating which usually lasts for 7-8 yrs until it starts turning yellowish...

Is there a way can you pls get an info on which kinda plating that they did for your TT

As clean as they are, I am extremely happy I went this way.. I like not seeing all the bolt heads and tops of the tubes.

If you're unfamiliar with them their reputation for quality is the best bar none. They were first known for their aftermarket brakes (Hawg-Halters - get it?) but they offer other things. I have their black anodized 3-degree trees and they did come with an internal fork stop set-up. (All that depends on your frame type, neck cups, and if you want internal or external stops.)

When you're running over-stock length tubes without alternate bracing (except for the front fender) you need a very stout set of triple trees. The HH trees are spendy but you can't go wrong as they do the job.

I have their Trees on one bike and brakes on another.Very nice pieces both of them. I live near their shop and can say it's a first class operation all the way. They throw a hell of a open house party every year also.
