All seven of my motorcycles batteries are AGM batteries. The Schumaker 1.5 amp tender keeps them at full charge. I have been using tenders on lead acid, Gel and AGM batteries for over 10 years. Have 12 vehicles and three back up batteries in the garage with tenders running now.

The only tender that said not to use them on gel batteries was the $7 HF tiny tender. I tried it on my gel emergency battery for the trailer brakes and it kept it full charged since 2007.

The HD battery is Absorbed Glass Mat. My dealer installs a pigtail on every bike he sells as a courtesy.
