Memphis Slim Windshields?
Does anyone have experience with this windshield? http://www.ebay.com/itm/15-SLIM-WIND...207876&vxp=mtr or any other Memphis shades products for that matter?
Yea, matter of fact I just recently purchased/installed that exact ws on my FXDP. I'm very satisfied so far. Good quality; easy to install; easy to pull on/off if you get the quick lok install hardware package (separate from ws). I did not get it off e-bay. I ordered it & the install hardware kit from J&P. No complaints at all.
Did you have a specific question about it?

This is the one I ordered and have ha don the bike for a while (not a Memphis, 'cause I wasn't sure I wanted a shield) http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKE-TINTED...item1c23452563
Even as small as it is, it made a HUGE difference in wind noise, I can hear my speakers in the fork bag, and my glasses aren't bouncing everywhere...but I'm taking it off, I can't stand having anything in my line of sight like that. I'm just not a windshield guy.
I DID have a Memphis on my 07 V Star 1300 Tourer, and it was very nice, especially with the added lower wind deflectors...But that was a semi-touring bike.

I've never run a windshield before.I like the looks of this one thought it might be a nice addition to the "old man" mini bagger look I got going on.I'd really like to see how one looks on a Dyna. Also I wonder what kind of buffeting issues I can expect with this height.
I’ve had Memphis Sportshield on my 07SB

and my 09 NT

They both provided some protection when the bugs came out certain times of the year.
I used them more for the bugs than wind protection. I suggest the larger model than I had
for wind protection. I don’t wear a helmet so I can’t help when it comes to the buffeting
issue.
Great quality product.

Had a Memphis Shade on a previous bike. The windshield itself was of good quality and did it's job, but the hardware and mount style was subpar. Mounting hardware mostly consisted of plastic parts and thin aluminum.

Had a MS Classic Deuce (handlebar mount) on my '03 Sportster that I put on the Street Bob and used for the first 5 years that I had it. Last year I replaced it the the MS Speed Demon fork mount model that looks and works great (Gradient Black on a black bike). Very happy with both products- still have the Deuce if anyone is interested.
I have a Memphis Shades that I had on a different bike. Found a way to mount it to the Dyna without buying new mounting kit. I am in the process of putting new handlebars on so the blinkers will be higher. I love it, keeps the wind off your chest and the bugs from nailing you in the face!
