hey guys i cranked my bike up today after not riding for about a week and as crazy as it seems my bike is quieter. it still cranks right up and runs fine just seems alot quieter, like i really have to cranks the throttle to get it louder so it sounds like is usually does. am i just going crazy? my only thought was maybe my throttle cable became loose and that somehow has caused this. any ideas or input?? BTW 2003 Dyna Superglide
I dont think there is any answer to this question. To many variables.
old bike or new to you?
stock exhaust?
perfomance exhaust? then your just going a little deaf
you just get used to the sound. an on an on an on.........
ive had the bike for 2 year and the exhaust for about a year bassani road rage short. i know im not going deaf im only 24, i cant explain it. its just a noticable difference in sound to me, sort of like when you crank up your car and notice a totally different sound.
You can go deaf from birth due to LOUD noises like a Bassani exhaust. It will sound the same when you get out and ride it again. You can go deaf at any age so have at it.
I'm thinking maybe the baffle fairy sneaked in your garage and installed some quiet baffles or maybe you're getting a head cold. Anyway it's possible that a piece of fiber packing has broken loose and is blocking the sound.
