Default switching seats......

what do you guys do when swiching from your single seat to a two-up seat or vice versa for protecting your rear fender. I put the buffer kit on from HD for the 2 up seat, but when I want to go solo, it looks really bad to have those pads visible on the fender.

I was thinking of running some truck topper padding along the bottom of the 2 -up seat, what do you think???

thanks

In my opinion anything you install on the seat, padding wise, will move around and marr the finish of the fender. I just leave everything as is when switching to my solo seat and back.

I use a mouse pad cut to fit. The rubberized material wont slip around and hasnt scratched up my fender in 1500 miles. However, I do take the pillion off and wax the fender quite regularly just to be on the safe side. So far it's worked quite well.
