Default Newbie with a seat ?

I just picked up a new steet bob and need a nice comfortable seat to take my wife out once in awhile. The problem is for the most part I will ride alone and like my solo seat and will swith back and fourth as needed. I don't like the thought of using rubber bumbers on the fender that I will see when I do use my solo seat. Does anyone know of a nice seat for two that does not require the bumper kit? Thanks and I am frickin excited that I finally got a bike.

I put a 2 up sundowner on my 07 Street Bob. Use the template and put the bumpers on the bottom of the seat rather than on the fender. I don't know if I will be removing my up or not but this set allows me to with out having to worry about the unsightly bumpers staying behind when I do...

Later,
Joe

I put a HD 2 up on mine and also put the bumpers on the seat. Granded they don't stick to carpet as well as paint, but I've not lost them yet. And no marks on the fender, so far.

I have the C&C fastback, and have never had a problem with it rubbing on the fender, as a matter of fact the stock solo did more damage to the fender than either aftermarket seat I own.

Don't do what I did by getting the stock passenger pillion without really looking at a Mustang solo/pass saddle.
I rode my street bob with the stock seat and pass pillion for 7500 miles, including both ways to Sturgis this summer. I thought it felt pretty good even with needing to stop to stretch at gas stops because my upper legs would get sore.
I didn't like that I HAD to keep both halves mated or go through a whole proceedure to redo the hardware if I wanted to ride solo seat, like HD intended. I finally got to the point where I wanted to do something different.
I checked the Mustang out and decided it would be the best way for me to go. Now, I have the Mustang solo saddle when I want to ride alone, and when I have a passenger, all I have to do is slip the pass. seat onto the docking stud that came with the seat, and bolt the back down using my existing HD quick bolt and the fender nut that came with the Mustang saddle. The pass. seat does have rubber bumpers attached to it, so that may not be to your liking, but you might opt to get the leather fender bib, like I did, to protect the paint.
Oh yeah....the ride is awesome. It is hard to believe that this saddle can be so much better than the stock seat. I give this setup two thumbs up. definately worth the money, I love the look, the quality and the comfort. I just wish I wouldn't have wasted my 130.00 buying the Passenger pillion.

I ordered from J&P Cycles from this page:

I bought this saddle:

And I bought this passenger seat:
