Default Taller windshield for Switchback?

Finally took my new FLD out for it's first ride last night, Awesome, love it, much sportier than my Streetglide. I can see me putting a lot of miles on this baby.

Only thing that I want to change is the windshield. I want it about 3 inches taller. I would like to be able to just see above the windshield while I'm riding, that way it I need to ride in the rain for any length of time, I simply tilt my head forward slightly, now I'm looking through it, keeping the rain off my face , more importantly, my eyes. ( yes I wear close fitting glasses, but you still get blasted).I can easily ride like this all day, if needed. Also when I see a stone or large flying kamakazi insect heading towards my noggin, I'm able to , again, quickly tilt my head down a bit, and whammo!, bug be gone, off the top of my helmet. We get some pretty large flying critters this far north.
Anyways this is how my Streetglide is set up and worked great for years. Also any bikes that I've owned in the past, I had windshield on all of them and set up this way.

So anyhow, went to the dealer this evening to order a taller replacement windshield for my 2012 FLD, and no part numbers available??? I can buy a whole new shield with mounts for around $400, forget that!
Anybody order a taller one ( stock is 15" from top of headlight to top of windshield). I would even look at aftermarket stuff if Harley doesn't yet have one. And to me $200 would seem to be a more reasonable price.

They have 3 replacement windshields for the road king, not sure but they may fit. I saw something on here awhile back about it. Plan on measuring the RK windshield holes this sat at the dealership.

Thanks, I would be interested to know if they might work. Been searching on line, Drag Specialties lists one from Klockworks for an FLD for just over the $200 range but it may be for the older FLD's from the 80's ( I believe).
But did see a utube video done at Sturgis where they custom fitted one to a new FLD Switchback, looked like they used a blank ( not-drilled) windshield and used the factory shield as a template.

for around $150.

You didn't happen to get a part number by chance? That's what I was after and checked at my local dealer last night, they show a picture of the taller one, but there is no part numbers, nor could they find it in their system.

Check with a company called Clearview Shields out of Colorado.
I bought a replacement from them a few years back and they were very helpful.

Nightglider the replacement windshield listed in drag specialities from klockwerks is for the FLD. '12 is the first year for this bike hence the reason no real accesories are available for it yet

Thanks FXDX, I'll keep this in mind, took a quick look at their web site, this would offer me a good alternative.

Here's the Utube video link for the Klockwerks Flair windshield. I thought that he drilled the holes right then and there, I was wrong as I seen this video a few months ago.

Hope the link works.
Also thanks Wyldspirit for your reply, I realize that it is going to take some time for accessories to surface for a new model, but I know that Harley does make a taller than stock one, it is in their accessory catalogue, but no part numbers appear with it ???

Also I could be way out to lunch on this, but I was almost sure that Harley had and FLD model way back in the 70's or 80's, was a duo glide or something. But don't quote me on that cause I can't remember where I left my car keys half the time! LMAO
