Default changing fork sliders

I have searched and cannot find a detailed explanation of how to change the sliders. Any help is appreciated.

Yep... X3 on the manual... Minor bucks with some look time on ebay and well worth the investment.

BTW slick YouTube "how to" vids.

Those videos are awesome. Service manual details it all in that order, but that guy has some good tips about the bolts and such.

back when I did it before the springer I remember the fork seals were the hardest part to put back in.

are you gettin chrome or goin black?

Covers the basics while skipping over most of the disassembly and reassembly while missing many small (yet important) things and has some stuff just plain wrong.
