Default Fork Seal Write-ups?

I haven't been able to find what I need with search... has anyone done a write-up on changing the seals on their Dyna's forks?

There's a write up in the service manual.
Other than that there's a few videos on You tube that should give you some help. I'm sure that has been covered here but I've found it easier to Google it than use the forum search function.

I don't doubt that, I just wanted to know how involved it was, before deciding on a plan of action. But I will check Youtube, thx.

The bolt on the bottom end of fork, it takes a impact to get bolt loose. Once loose and bolt is out use slider as a puller to knock out old seal after you pull retainer out. I used pvc pipe to install the new seal.

A word of advice, while tubes are out, roll them on a flat surface to make sure there not bent.

No it doesn't take an impact wrench to free it. Just leave the forks intact. IE do not relieve spring pressure.

You will need a 12mm Allen about 4" long to get it out.

That wasn't intended to sound harsh, I thought I had put in a funny emoticon.

X2 this

I did use an impact and the the 12mm allen 'socket" was the hardest thing to find so i made one using an old allen key and old socket.
Also on the PVC pipe you will need to sand off a little on the end that goes into the forks to seat the seals.

Muds got a write up too but goes into polishing his forks and drops in ricors, so just disregard those..... and I used that motorcycle metal video pretty straight forword just use all new seals.
